Good news – recent funding from the Foundation for Rural Regional Renewal, Newcastle Permanent Charitable Foundation and local Clubs involved with the NSW Clubs Grant Program has meant that Make a Difference PMQ have been able to place an order for a food trailer to accompany the M.A.D Coffee van! This means that food can now be cooked and served on shift and with the benefit of mobility. The M.A.D food trailer in conjunction with the M.A.D mobile coffee van will be used to raise revenue at our major fundraising events such as the annual Ride the Wave Festival in addition to working alongside other service providers in the area to provide a free food service to people experiencing hardship and disadvantage in our local community. Our mission at M.A.D is very simple, ‘locals supporting locals’.
